I am an independent French dance artist based in London. I dance, make dance and make people dance.
Initially trained in ballet and modern jazz, I studied English and Theatre at university, completed an Acting degree at Central School of Speech and Drama, and performed in theatre, film, TV, and opera, before dedicating myself entirely to dance and movement.
My MA at The Place, London Contemporary Dance School, focused equally on performing, choreographing, and teaching, three areas that I keep on developing. My approach is both technical and playful, influenced by somatics and Eastern movement philosophies, while retaining a taste for the theatrical. I love collaborating with musicians, composers, DJs and sound artists, and mix my own music too.
My 20-year career spans dance, theatre, opera, film, video, site-specific and multimedia performance, small and large scale, embracing the experimental as well as the mainstream and commercial. My works as a choreographer have shown at Sadler's Wells' Lylian Baylis theatre, Riverside Studios, The Place, Stratford Circus, RichMix, and Barcelona's Teatro Mercat de les Flors, among other venues. I have been comissioned by Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Royal Academy of Music and SIB Dance Lab (Norway), and was Assistant Choreographer to Arthur Pita 2011-2013 while also performing in his works.
Nowadays, my particular interest as a performer and choreographer lies in multi-disciplinary collaborations and screen work, leading workshops and facilitating or contributing to movement research in a range of contexts. I was a Board Trustee of Chisenhale Dance Space 2021-2024, and remain an Artist Member there.
