I am an independent French dance artist based in London. I dance, make dance and make people dance.
Trained in ballet and modern jazz in my native Paris, I studied English and Theatre at university, completed an Acting degree at Central School of Speech & Drama, and performed in theatre, physical theatre, dance theatre, film, TV, voice-over and opera, before dedicating myself entirely to dance and movement.
My MA at London Contemporary Dance School focused equally on performing, choreographing and teaching - three areas that I keep nurturing. My approach is technical and playful, informed by somatics, and influenced by embodiment philosophies of East & Southeast Asia. My style combines abstraction with emotional depth and a taste for a dramatic edge. I love intersecting with other art forms. I also curate and mix music/DJ.
My 20+ year career spans stage, film, multimedia, site-specific performance and everything in between, small and large scale, experimental, mainstream and commercial. I performed for Arthur Pita (who I also was Associate Choreographer to), Darren Johnson, Marie-Gabrielle Rotie, Katie Green, Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion, and Tino Sehgal. My choreographies have shown at Sadler's Wells' Lilian Baylis theatre, Riverside Studios, The Place, Stratford Circus, RichMix and Barcelona's Teatro Mercat de les Flors, among other venues. I have been commissioned by Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Royal Academy of Music and SIB Dance Lab (Norway), and was Associate Choreographer to Arthur Pita. In 2014 I received a Dance UK Choreographer To Choreographer Award with Charlotte Vincent to reflect on my practice after becoming a mother.
