The Hugging Project is a site-responsive performance-installation about human connection, loss and perseverance, based on the act of hugging. It is a choreographed intervention in outdoor or indoor spaces, performed in the spirit of a meditative live-art work or a flash mob. Conceived for diverse locations and audiences, it lends itself to participation and engaging diverse communities. It is a living work which evolves with each version.

Hold each other, let go, try to keep it up, carry on, carry on, never let go.

The Hugging Project is available for festivals, residencies, community events and touring.
